    Mother Russia

    In one of my classes, there is a student whose family is from Russia. He might have been born there. I'm pretty sure he was. Here is a conversation between him and another teacher:

    Teacher: "Who can tell me who their favorite Revolutionary War hero was?"

    Student 1: "Paul Revere!"

    Student 2: "Samuel Adams!"

    Teacher: "Good! E, who was your favorite?"

    E: "None of them."

    Teacher: "Why not?"

    E: "They're not Russian."
